NR 151 Nutrient Management Plans
Need some help complying with the new Wisconsin DNR requirements for turfgrass fertilization? As of March 10, 2008, nutrient management plans are required to be completed for all property owner in the state of Wisconsin who own a site with a total of 5 or more acres of turfgrass which receive fertilizer applications. These plans are required by the WDNR and intended to enforce responsible fertilizer use and reduce possible nutrient contamination in our surface and ground water supply.
Our nutrient management plans are written in compliance with NR 151 and the Turfgrass Nutrient Management 1100 Technical Standard. Plans include a topographic site map, soil test results, fertilizer recommendations and fertilizer application records forms. Our NR 151 expert is the NR 151 liaison for the Wisconsin Sports Turf Managers Association and has been trained through the UW Extension Nutrient Management Program. As a Certified Sports Turf Manager with a Bachelors degree in Turf and Grounds Management, she well exceeds the DNR's requirements for creating these plans.
No need to worry about collecting soil samples and interpreting the data. We will do all the work for you. All you need to do is give us a call.
