Raechal Volkening, CSFM, Owner
With 12 years of experience
managing professional sports fields including Miller Park, home of the
Milwaukee Brewers, Raechal has the expertise needed to make your field a
“field of dreams.” She is also very familiar with the needs of young
athletes and high use facilities after managing Helfaer Field, the Brewers
youth baseball/softball facility that hosts over 300 events per year.
Raechal is both a Certified Sports Field Manager and Master Gardener. She has been the Grounds Manager for the Milwaukee Brewers since January of 2001. She has also gained experience in minor league baseball, youth baseball, softball, and the NFL Super Bowl. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Horticulture specializing in Turfgrass Management.
Active in a variety of state and national trade associations, serving as an industry leader and mentor is an integral facet of Raechal’s career. She has served on the board of the Wisconsin Sports Turf Managers Association, Wisconsin Turfgrass Association, and Michigan Sports Turf Managers Association. She is a renowned speaker and writer on a wide variety of topics of importance to the athletic field and recreation industry.
